Funny thing about scoring this many is that when Sox finally get them out, next innings they'll be up first against Hamilton and Bradley, then Byrd (August .524), Catalanatto (away .307) and Laird (away .333). Next innings Texas probably end up on 20+.

I lived in DFW for 11 years...wind just howls to right-center at their place but this Ranger team rakes on the road too! Unfortunately they haven't had a good starter since Kevin Brown in the 90s when I was there!

Rangers had enough pitching to make the playoffs several times in the 90s but couldn't beat the Yankees! Now that was a bunch of steriod freaks....Juan Gonzalez, Pudge, Palmeiro, Julio Franco all gained about 30 lbs. of muscle in 1 off-season. I think Canseco was there around then or maybe he got it all started?? It was so obvious to anyone who paid any attention!

franco was not there when they made the loffs. and the only dude who hit in the loffs was juan gone. pudge and clark were ****ing awful!
and henneman was the closer

they sucked, juan hit a lot of homers and then bernie williams hit em right back

Franco was gone but he was one of the "roid" boys that picked up a ton of muscle in 1 offseason. Don't forget Dean Palmer with those playoff teams but they just couldn't pitch w/New York. Will Clark did replace Palmeiro at first...you are correct!

I think the season I noticed they were all so much bigger in April was 1992! Remember Brian Downing...when they first signed him for 1991...I thought he was on the juice. I was lifting alot back then and could tell who was on and who wasn't! Haven't checked Conseco yet but I think that was before they got him...he must've heard it was roid heaven and signed up!
