This guy's story is very sad. I hesitate to even joke about the multiple-personality thing.

The beating he took was massive. I'd argue that he was one of the 3 or 4 most talented RBs to enter pro football in the L30 yrs.

there's much crazier stories. but you're right he was an absolute beast. wasn't there talks of him coming back to the nfl lol? i swear he is better than 30% of rb's today even at his age

My friend met him @ an event for underpriviledged kids. He said that Herschel was down to earth, and approachable. Even took a pic with him.
