probably a good market for it. say someone buys a pick through SBR and wants to post it in the service play forum they should at least be allowed to post the rating a long with it. 5 dime, 10 star, etc.


The service play forum his a hugh draw for SBR, I think they should work to become the leader in that area as well.

I think SBR should kick some money back to the touts for all the money they stole from them by allowing their plays to be posted online.

I can. Do you see how pissed people get at certain posters around here if a play of theirs doesn't cash? I honestly think you'd be stunned by how many people out there have no idea what they're doing and are just looking for plays to tail. Then they get crazy when/if they don't succeed. It's bizarre.

SweetJones had 10 unit plays on both the Celtics and the Bulls to beat his Miami Heat team, that he claimed to know so much about. The guy admitted he only bet 2 years of NBA then went tout. That's pretty hard to pull off.

I think the guy still knows what he's talking about when it comes to basketball and I bet he will hit above 55% this year.

Anyone that use to post a bit of info on line movement and try to speculate why a line is set a certain way had No coin's attention right from the get go. You followed these guys into their threads like they were gambling pioneers. You defended them time and time again because of the way they portrayed themselves on SBR.

That will result in a rash of new people making picks thread to make a name for themselves. Which is probably positive for the site.

Precisely. You think guys get that upset, when LB or Paco's plays lose, because they just like being upset?

Hell no. Guys get upset with them because they tailed them, and can't make their own picks.

The only way this could be done without turning into a huge PR nightmare is if SBR is willing to put the selected touts through a vetting process wherein you vouch for the legitimacy of their claimed past records and monitor their ongoing record-keeping. If you're not willing to formally recommend these guys as legitimate businessmen, then their services shouldn't be offered in the store.

As soon as SBR starts taking money for sports picks (even indirectly), that recommendation is implied and you can be sure that your customers will not be shy in voicing their displeasure if some "expert" with an unconfirmed (or in any way questionable) history takes a fee and then tanks. No amount of "buyer beware" warnings will prevent the vocal minority from attacking the credibility of SBR as a whole.

If you do this the right way it could work out nicely for you, but if you half-ass it, it WILL blow up in your face.

This is EXACTLY what SBR should never do. It would be a disaster with no control mechanisms.

Maybe it´s just me put forums like Covers.com lost alot of credibility with me once they started pushing this tout-s**t like crazy...Obviously you (SBR) could make a quick buck with it, but in the long term I am not sure if you won´t lose the good guys here...
