Cant believe Bears are so undervalued here. Raiders are garbage at home. Bears are better at almost every position and Carson Palmer is a joke.

I 100 percent disagree with you here, it is there first game without Cutler. There is going to be a learning curve, and carson palmer is getting better each week. Palmer still has not played with Mcfadden! The guy may or may not play this week, if he does that is a huge boost. But Bush has done quality work. I am on the Raiders big in this.
I was with you last week, because that was an in-division game, this is the bears traveling across the country though and playing @ oakland. In a non-conference game. Much difference cirumstances.
I am on the raiders in this one. I Did end up putting 25 bucks on them at 200/1 for the super bowl, too. SO part of me wants me to see them continue to win and make the playoffs.

The bears have no chance without cutler. That oline will probably get the new QB killed this week. Palmer and the great run game will come through for the Raidernation. 34-10

CHI 44.5% SU
CHI 63% ATS

Don't agree with the Bears wager here at all. This isn't a similar circumstance to NBA or a different NFL replacement aside from the QB where someone like Bush on Oakland or the backup for TB when they played Saints @ home weeks ago and end up doing well without the starting players, or in the NBA where you can replace someone like tyreke evans on the Sacramento Kings and still cover ATS on the road vs various good teams (you said it yourself, everyone in the NBA is a pre-madonna one player doesn't matter if they're out). I think Cutler being out will make this have a reverse effect on Chicago's performance. Someone on this board mentioned (forgot who) that a lot of forte's running is because of cutler setting it up, and if it isn't very clean then I can see OAK stopping the run in this game. OAK secondary will without a doubt have two or more picks this game. This is probably going to be the easiest game Palmer has played out of his first 4 and carrying that momentum and in front of his home crowd makes this is a really bad spot for the Bears. In my opinion, I don't think that teams necessarily come out firing after losing their main QB, because I think it tends to take a bit longer for that once they realize the season is literally in jeopardy after two or more losses. The Bears are excellent at stopping the run, so that's +1 for them in that department but if and when OAK comes up with the first touchdown, or defensive turnover leading into a quick TD, then I find it extremely hard for the Bears to pull out a comeback given the injury circumstance. Give me OAK -5.5 right now for 1-2 units.

He's actually making a lot of sense here though. Remember what happened to Oakland a few weeks ago vs Kansas City? Oh yeah....they got blown out 28-0. And losing to Denver 38-24?? Something is wrong with Oak at the house. Bears are strong, as long at what's his face can throw and make plays.

oakland's gonna put up 34 points on the bears defense??
the only way Oakland wins this game is a low scoring slugfest, bears defense run game and special teams are some of the best in the entire league...this will NOT be a blowout
