That means Wilson is pretty much a lock to end up with the Angels.

Bingo. Rangers knew Wilson was gone anyway. Good reactionary move. Don't think it is an upgrade though, but it's not horrible.

Great pitching prospects are a waste as relievers. You can create a closer, and other positions. If the guy has the talent, get him pitching 6/7 innings every 5 days. Much more value added to team.

Bard should be the next guy moved to a starting position.

Sounds like a good move for Texas.

Good riddance to Wilson if you're a Ranger fan. Arrogant pr1ck is no no. 1 starter anyway as evidenced by the fact the Rangers have not one a single on of his 7 playoff starts. Let someone else pull a Barry Zito for him.

I'm not feeling Feliz as a starter like I was CJ, honestly. He just doesn't seem like he's got the goods to consistently put up quality starts. He certainly can't do worse in the playoffs, though.

I wish the Rangers had gotten a better closer to replace Feliz, though. I'm not a fan of guys in their mid-30s with a declining velocity and previous major surgery. Call me crazy.
