Who plays in the championship game? I'm assuming that one half of it will be 'bama, but what about the other? Ok State? I would have thought it would be Oregon.....until Saturday night.

No one. They just cancel the game and call everyone a loser.

Look at the BCS %...the dropoff from Arkansas to OK St is pretty big with only one game left.....I think LSU can lose but still hold the #1 #2 spot in the whacky computer results. As much as I despise LSU I WANT them to win Fri...one because I want my pound of flesh in revenge but also I don't wanna sit through the debates if a #3 Arkansas beats a #1 LSU then shouldn't Arkansas be the #2 and all the mess that comes with that scenario since Bama has beaten Ark and either way we are looking at a rematch....Bama/LSU or Ark/LSU or Bama/Ark......it's driving me batshit crazy already.

I can't go fill up with gas or stop in Best Buy here the last day or so without hearing the talks or being stopped and engaged in them....it's crazy around here already from all sides. We're close to Auburns campus but also right on the Georgia border and are crazed Bama fans....so you picture it in your head.....Auburn assholes foaming at the mouth to get us in the Iron Bowl AT Auburn this weekend.....Georgia fans pissed that they aren't getting any respect for going to Atlanta....and the rest of us Bama faithful who are getting it from all sides.

Like Colt Brennan and Hawaii vs Georgia a few years back?

              Houston is good...but not elite.

LSU has to lose 2 games to be out of the National Championship game.

Arkansas won't play Georgia if they beat LSU, it will still be LSU unless Alabama loses to Auburn.

wishful thinking i suppose...it would be great if the two teams in the ncg didnt win their own conference championship

                          Boom

I don't have a problem with it (happens all the time in sports with playoffs) but I'd love to see the traditionalists and sec haters going nuts

It would be horrible though, two teams that don't win their own Conference in the national Championship game, Georgia in the Sugar Bowl in that case.

This is definitely a year where we would need at least a +1 game.

LSU is in no matter what.

If they lose to Arkansas, Arkansas is in.

If they don't, Alabama is in (assuming they beat Auburn).

But I am not sure who wins the SEC West if Arkansas beats LSU and Alabama beats Auburn.

Have you missed what everyone said? Arkansas won't even play in the SEC championship game unless they win and Alabama loses.

The winner depends on BCS standings. Brad Edwards said the following:

IF LSU loses to Arkansas, he still thinks LSU and Alabama remain ahead of Arkansas in the BCS, then it is head to head record of those two and LSU will win the West.
