My point is primarily directed at k13 with his assertion of NE and Hou having easy schedules. I have shown and proven that the 49'ers have a very easy schedule as well.

I like the Ravens a LOT.
Its a short travel week.
3 hour time difference.
Its national TV holiday night game... pumps up the home team and crowd!
Its on artificial turf... speed of game is different for SF. Cuts, timing, all of that is different.
Ravens have played a much tougher schedule (# 17 - # 29).
Ravens are fighting for division lead and a playoff spot... but SF has NFCW wrapped out, so there might be a letdown, probably; SF will be less motivated, definitely.
Baltimore "O" is starting to click... super speedster rookie WR Torrey Smith is getting more and more acclimated, gaining confidence, he changes the game, opens it up for Boldin and others. And RB Rice is getting back into the groove. Flacco is inconsistent... if he is flat, it will be closer. If he is hot, Ravens by 17+.
Baltimore will NOT let SF win with Gore runs... will make Smith beat them in the air. I think Smith cannot do it.
It would be great of Ray Lewis is back... but either way.

SF is fighting for a first round bye we are not content with winning the NFC west. Plus Ray Lewis is most likely out this week which is a huge blow to the ravens D. Going SF+3 and GB -5.5

The most rushing yards given up by the 49ers to a running back is 64 yards (Cedric Benson). In games where Ray Rice has had less than 64 yards, Ravens are 2-3. And the two games they won were against the Cardinals and Steelers where they only won by 3 points.

Frank Gore is not 100% and Alex Smith isn't going to beat Baltimore through the air, trust me on that one. SF has a great defense but you have to think that bullying could be a big part of this game, and once the ravens are inside your head, once Smith gets thrown to the ground a couple times and rattled, there is not a crazier team to play against, especially if you are not used to adversity.

That's because the Niners traumatized these teams so bad that they go into a season long tailspin.

Detroit was undefeated
Tampa was 3-1 and playing well
Giants were 6-3 and just beat the Patriots


Houston Texans are of course at the bottom of that schedule list yet you think they are super bowl contenders.

Schedule means little once you get in the playoffs. There is no BCS because if there was it be Niners-Packers Super Bowl.

i would have agreed with this statement for niners teams in the past but this team doesnt turn the ball over hence the league leading +17 turnover margin..i think the ravens have more of a chance of turning the ball over than san fran

They may win...Ravens struggled at home to beat Bengals this weekend, but-for that stupid rule about basically having to take the TD ball back to the sideline with you and present it to official before being ruled a TD catch, etc.

i hear what u are saying but most of what i say is in response to all the bullshit that is being spewed from most on here..people need to give this team the credit it deserves..there were plenty of people that said they couldnt win in detroit, philly and cincy and that this team would be tested by the giants..we all know how all those games turned out...and i could care less about people telling me they told me so..im not in the 5th grade anymore so things like that dont bother me. thats the problem with this place now..its more of a 'i told u so" and people wanting to blast someone for losing plays here and there..when i first got here it was about people helping others to beat the man..now its one big pissing contest..and i am a homer and proud of it..my team is really good right now and it is exciting..BOL to u...
