About 5 or 6 years ago preseason game. Pretty sure it was the hall of fame game. Cant remember the teams. Might of been buffalo and someone. favorite has the ball and spread covered by 1 point. 4th down at about there own 20. About 10 seconds left. HC decides not to punt and instead has QB take the snap and run in the wrong direction to run clock out. Might of been there own 30. Fukkin asshole QB runs all the way out of back of end zone for a safety. Wasnt even necessary. By the time he got to end zone clock had ran out. No one near him. Could of chucked ball out at 5 yd line. That game was fixed for sure.

definitely dont agree with the decision or even think its their Only logic but they had the game won- theres no point in it in terms of winning.

other possible reasons include but are not limited to- good sportsmanship, bad sportsmanship (embarrassing them), running out as much of the clock as possible so they can get out of there, not revealing all their goal line plays and strategy,

it does actually make some sense if they didnt bet on the second half total. there are lotsa factors to consider.
