Luck is doing what he does with Stanford Wr's and backs......Barkley has USC skilled players. That should tell you something. Luck would be a no brainer, based on his size alone. I think Luck would get taken over Barkley by all 32 NFL teams and every college team (including USC) for that matter.

That said, Barkley will ge a good NFL QB, and whoever gets him will be thrilled. If I had the number one pick, I would say I was taking Luck and then ask the number two team what they would be willing to give to acquire him. Barkley and a few picks would probably be intriguing.

If Luck was throwing to 5 stars like Robert Woods and co, he'd already be in the NFL hall of fame.

I do think with how Barkley has been playing, he has shown that he is a top QB; he probably has moved into 1st round draft status at this point.

I like them both. Both have great potential at the next level.

The USC team as a whole is improving by leaps and bounds, whoever would've played them in a bowl is lucky they are ineligible.

Barkley will be a starting QB in the NFL, but don't get carried away based on tonight. He played out of his mind and got a lot of help from his receivers and some unbelievably turrible freshman Oregon DB's.

Up to about 10-15 yards, Barley and Luck are very close. Timing, footwork, reading the D, et al. I'd give a slight edge to Luck due to his athleticism, but not by much. The difference is more apparent in 20+ yard pass plays. This is where Luck shines. He goes through his progressions quickly and throws darts to a moving 12"x12" window. There are only a few guys in the NFL who do this reliably, so it is worth the hype.

Barkley is 1 step slower and noticeably less accurate at distance. He still throws a lot of wounded ducks and if he underthrows his receivers like he did tonight, he'll toss 3-4 picks/game in the NFL. That said, he does have Jeebus on his side. That's just as good as a passing game.

Barkley cant make the throws Luck can, amongst other things, its really a no brainer.

Is this a serious question, 'the public likes luck'. LOL, so I guess everyone who does is a 'square.'

Got to love that, Luck is one of the best QB's prospects we have seen. But many people don't notice that because its not about stats in college football, stats are meaningless when evaluating a qb.
