Ernie Harwell and Gene Elston were the best baseball voices when I was younger and play-by-play men usually had the booth alone without having to get a plug in for a sponsor every 12 seconds. Nowadays, I'd put Bob Uecker at the top of the list for radio calls.
Don't listen to NBA or NFL games, so have no real informed opinion there.
