With these dog days of August comes the funky and skunky water that makes even what's an already bad situation worse when it comes to germs and enzymes in publicly used water.
They always put out these alerts that the Tijuana sewers backed up after a storm and the residue was released into the ocean where the current is taking it to San Diego.When you watch the races from Del Mar or the golf from Pebble Beach on tv it looks like paradise but it's litteraly near an open sesspool.
They claim that Coors Brewery in Golden,Colorado which is another paradise on the surface gets it's water from a sewer contaminated area.
Anyone ever beach comb close to a big city on the east coast when the tide is out?I did it near Boston over 20 years ago and it was full of medical waste.Dead people's bandages,syringes,eye glasses,you name it,it was there.
Do they still have that Skinner's water park on the strip in Vegas?You would see thousands of kids there because the parents thought it was a good safe place to leave them all day when they went to gamble.Can you imagine the water in places like that what condition it's in?
So,does anyone still jump in head first into any of these contaminated places?I quit doing it 25 years ago.I live in an area where there are a ton of nice lakes on the surface but god knows what's in them to make the vegetation grow so fast.Human fertilizer!
