Is it better to just bet a big %?and hope to go on a run. I'm a recreational player for fun usually deposit 50-100$ at most. Was thinking of betting 1/3 of my bankroll a play and see where it gets me in a few weeks. Thoughts?
If you're starting with a small bankroll..

#2it will get you to reloading faster, probably by the weekend. If you are recreational player and a realist just bet 2-3% of your bankroll per bet.Comment -

#3Yea. $100 isn't going to get you anywhere if you're practicing bankroll management betting 1-3% of your roll per game. If you're able to run it up big than get conservative.Comment -

#4I hear the 2-3% but that's like a dollar and a dollar fifty. What's the fun in that?Comment -

Yea don't listen to these guys. Go about 18-25% of you bankroll when you are just beginning on anything between $100-$250. Get on a little run then build.Comment -

#7Yeah I think that's the best Idea. I am streaky I could hit 5 in a row the lose 6 in a row. One I get on a little run I can scale my bet size back.Originally posted by NYSportsGuy210Yea don't listen to these guys. I deposited $50 into bodog and turned it into 1100 in two weeks.
Don't go all in. Betting big causes you to go broke. Slowly grind it out.
At the beginning it's important to only play games you are very confident in. Once you win a few, you can increase your bets.
Start at like $15. If you win, bet $20. If you win that. I would keep betting $20 until you reach $200. Likewise, when you're losing, lower your bets.Comment -

Just put in $1000, because that is what you'll end up losing eventually anyways[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.

I started tracking all of my plays in a spreadsheet and I'm up only $900 overall despite the fact that I feel like I have kicked ass.
I'm hitting like 46% but that number is skewed because I input all parlays and and teasers into my sheet as well. I feel like you have to enter everything to truly have an accurate number as far as profit goes.
I do this for fun. People will probably laugh because typically I bet $25-$50 a game. The fewer bets I have, the more I bet on each game and vice versa.
For example, yesterday I bet on like 12 games but it was only like 20-40 a game. I want the action more than anything and games that are worthy of going big on don't occur everyday. I feel like a lot if times people push plays instead of being patient.
I just make small bets for action and when a game comes along that I really like, I might throw down like $150 which many people would only consider 1.5 units vComment -

go with the 18-25% per bet that starts you out with 4 or 5 bets, keep us updated on how soon it is before you reload.Comment
