Let's say GSP moves up in weight class and fights Silva, who wins? What's the line?

anderson has better striking. GSP has better wrestling. really a close matchup but anderson would be a slight favorite since GSP is coming up in weight. anderson -140 or so.

this discussion is a bit premature as GSP vs Penn is 1st. That should be a close line as well with GSP being a slight favorite. maybe -160 or so.

I thought Penn won the first fight vs GSP he won the First for sure he rocked GSP with big punches . The second i round i thought he won.Late 2nd rnd Penn did gas and GSP won bye split decision. After the fight GSP went straight to the hospital and was there over night, while BJ went his after party that same night. WTF ??

Im liking BJ if he is in shape to go 5 rnds.

BJ is in shape, and GSP doesn't do alot of submissions, he does your typical ones...BJ Penn knows them all by heart...fighting BJ Penn on the ground is like suicide.

Silva would destroy GSP. Even if GSP took Silva down Silva is great off his back. He would eventually catch GSP and put him to sleep.

I also felt that Penn won the first fight with GSP. I just think it is too close to call right now. I think there would be a slight advantage for GSP at 170.
mmaweekly.com rumored that Penn would fight the GSP/Fitch winner at the Dec. 27th fight.

If GSP does win that fight they will have to set up a fight with Silva, maybe at a catch weight like 178 or something. I think Silva would dominate that though.

Silvia has too much size for GSP IMO. He is also more composed. When GSP steps up in competition, he often has issues, and this would be the biggest step up in his life.
