yeah as a pirate fan that follows them closely... snell's mental state is really in doubt right now.. he has been making public statements that he should be sent to the minors, he has no confidence right now.

He used to be the type of pitcher that fed off of going right at hitters and having almost too much swagger... but now he has lost it all and is in shambles.... i've kept waiting for him to return to form but his slider just doesn't have the bite it used to and he is afraid to go inside..just tries to nibble on the outside corner.

Yep, I would expect him to be shutdown early this year because of his nagging injuries and poor performance.

This was just a lost year for him.

howard has looked bad as has utley
