#38Jets are 15th in the league in rushing defense allowing 4.0 it's not too bad, unfortunately for Denver, looks like the injuries will claim this one unless Willis McGahee and Moreno are back on the fieldComment -

#46Denver will have success against teams that can't stop the run. The Jets though are not KC, and should dominate Denver with Revis taking away the play action pass to Decker. The Denver DF is quietly playing a little better each week, I see it 20-6.

Jets are 24th giving up 98.1 yds a game. Look at the yards they've given up to RB's.
EDIT - You are correct. They are 15th giving up 116 total rush yards per game. I was looking at their own rush stats.
McFadden - 171 yards
Green-Ellis - 136 yards
MJones-Drew - 88 yards
Reggie Bush - 71 yards
Fred Jackson - 82 yards
Now they have 3 days to prepare for the zone read? I don't think so. Denver has the 2nd youngest team in the league. Their offensive line is young and don't really know all the blocking schemes (especially pass blocking). They've dumbed down the playbook not only for Tebow but for the Oline and the receivers (who can't catch for shit). The Oline looks enthused knocking people on their asses, smash mouth football. Nothing complicated. Block who's in front of you.
Tebow takes care of the ball while Sanchez takes too many risk. Denver's Dline is getting excellent rush with only 4. Von is a beast and is blowing up QB's. The Jet's offense is probably a little more anemic than Denver because you don't know what to expect with Denver just yet.
If you look closely at the numbers and with possible dissension in the Jet lockerroom, everything is really pointing to a Denver flat out winComment -

The only way Denver has a chance to win is if Mcgahee is healthy comes Thursday. Also, if Von Miller who's been virtually unstoppable at hitting the Quarterback and Dumervil now back a full speed can replicate what the Patriots did. The Broncos can rattle Sanchez and forced a fumble or a couple of interceptions.Comment -

#52The under is only a good play is Denver has the lead. If the Jets get a lead, then this game is going over quick because their will be a ton of three and out if Tebow's forced to pass. The Broncos receivers are not going to out run the Jets Secondary.Comment -

#53The Broncos kept it close the last time they fought but I still like the Jets here.
Then again, Tebow is not a pocket passer. I think Tebow will get out played by Revis.

Every week it's "I LOVE whoever is playing Tebow"
&
"The Eagles can't lose"
Well, there are some broke muthafuggers out there that continue subscribing to this recipe. The funny part is they can't wait to get back out there the following week & get all in again on Philly & against Tebow??Comment -

#57Tebow options will not work without Mcgahee. Lance Ball had a decent game on Sunday, but I don't see that happening again. The Jets defense will not respect Lance Ball, and Tebow's play action where he picks up a tons of yards running the other way will not work. The problem Denver has is, the Jets will put up at least 20 points on them. That Broncos secondary is still venerable, they just been lucky as of late. The Chiefs could of easily score 20 points in that game if the Chiefs receivers didn't suck so bad. Palixco Burres, Santonio Holmes, and Dustin Keller will pose a big problem to this team.

Pretty good analysis imo. Brady went off on the Jets....no big shocker but they held Miami/SD/Buffalo to 38 points total (12.6 ppg) in the 3 games before that.
Ryan might be a loudmouth fat bastard but he can still coach up alot of crazy formations/blitzes at young QBs like Tebow. They'll put 9 in the box and I don't see how Denver gets more than 10 points without special teams or a defensive TD. Denver is playing better defensively but some of that was how bad KC was.
LT is probably done but Joe McKnight is younger and better imo. If they played him more then he'd win the RB job. Santonio Holmes, Plaxico, and Keller are all talented and Sanchez will do enough to get the job done.

#58As a Jets fan, I'm dissapointed as anyone in the Patriots game (I was there at the stadium to watch it live) but the Jets under Rex Ryan win this Denver game historically. They are not the type of team to dwell, and actually play much better when everyone doubts them in the underdog role.
I just cannot see Tebow getting much done against the Jets defense......They usually feast off of young and/or bad qb's. On offense/ special teams expect the Jets to play good, but not great.
I see a Jets-24 Broncos-13 type of gameComment -

Jets can counter this by having the DE always rushing for the RB, while having an LB spying for Tebow. But, the excellent Ryan Clady can then shift to blocking the left side DE, and Tebow makes the zone-read on the LB.Comment -

#61Public plays has been covering like crazy on weekday games lately, except for the Chargers game. The Jets is a very obvious public, but I think it might not matter. Mcgahee looks like he's going to be out, and he won't be a 100% even if he does play. I don't really know how Denver's going to hang with the Jets without him.Comment -

#62Is Tebow the only mobile QB in the history of the NFL to be underrated? I remember when Michael Vick was the absolute worst passer among starting QBs and they gave him the biggest contract in the NFL... I'm not saying Tebow is good. It's just bizarre that people keep assuming Denver can't win with Tebow at QB as they continue to win games they weren't winning when he was not QB.
I think Tebow get his ribs broke.
This will be as ugly as the Broncos vs Lions game was.Comment -

I think UNDER is the best bet. The Jets have sured up their rushing D (PATS 14 rushing yards first half, Fred Jackson did nothing). The Jets can put 8 in the box because their DBs can cover man to man. The Broncos traded their best receiver.Comment -
