EOG was started by the ex owner of the Rx, The Shrink. They started a few days after the SBR forum opened. Maybe that created a natural rivarly, not sure. Their fortunes took a turn for the worse around Oct according to alexa and compete.com traffic monitors. As posting activety dried up they began hiring to appear busy in hopes that newbies would feel the place was active.

Since the new laws were passed places like EOG have had a difficult time. The typical forum is a net losing investment to sponsors but is excellent brand exposure. Forum only sites suffered the most as sportsbooks pulled back and went with positive investment advertising. EOG is spending a lot to look busy instead of creating content. I'd be a seller of that. We feel you have to give visitors more than just guys getting paid to post smiley faces. But like I said, somehow we are natural rivals so I just may be bias

I am not saying this just because I am married to the guy...but he can be pretty scary. I saw him take on two black guys outside of a strip club by diving on the hood of their car and basically begging them to get out of the car and fight him.
