Totally agree - pathetic structure to the broadcast. You have many people tuning in who have never watched UFC. Why not throw in a prelim with two exciting guys who you know will go a full three rounds? Instead you get 40 minutes of prefight BS and a one-minute match.

The FOX deal doesn't start until January. This was just a bonus fight. Future broadcast will have more fights.

It was the right move. Better to show two heavyweights with knockout power fight a meaningful fight than a couple of technical guys who have ground games.

You got to remember the audience, last thing UFC wants is for the sport to be called "gay" because two guys laid on top of each other for 15 minutes. Even if it ends in submission your average FOX viewer simply won't appreciate it.

Yeah, I have seen every UFC event to date. It was just wierd only seeing 1 fight and Fox announcers talk for 30 mintues about something they know nothing about.
