About a month ago I was at about a 2. I didn't even want to get out of bed. My wife was drinking heavily almost daily (she is now going to rehab and has been sober for 32 days), and my mom and stepdad were both on the verge of passing away. They're doing better now, as well. Glad you're doing well too, brother.

Solid six. Personal life = decent enough, although like everyone else, I should be getting laid more. Gambling life = average. Work life = decent. Survived a layoff and everything looks good right now for status quo. Solid six. After Christmas, probably a five.

I never said I myself was the only one that's happy and everyone else is miserable. I'm not happy, and I don't believe many others are happy either.

Congrats to the wife...I gave up the bottle almost 12 months ago after visiting rehab myself...it's not easy but damn do I feel better about life...

Happiness is not something that is 'natural' to me, I tend to be very cynical and my glass is usually half empty. I don't really have anything to be unhappy about right now though - family is fine and finances are in decent shape. Solidly content, I would say.

#1 for sure. I'm never happy and look very forward to death. Was on medical for over a decade with over 1000 doctor visits until dump to the curb by gov. Simply took all my paperwork and trashed it.
