How many bets is too much?
How much games per saturday or sunday do you guys play?

It seems like the real winners only bet like 4-6 games??

I have like 8-10 bets pending for saturday, starting to feel like its too much

its irrelevant. wither it's 8-10 games or 2-4 games you are only going to hit your average.

Spot bettors have a better shot to win

In any form of gambling the less bets the better.

Son you can beat a game but not the games

If your reasoning is sound, play it.

If it's not, don't play it.

If it is sound but you still lose long term, check your reasoning.

            Best of Luck.

This is a question that comes up pretty frequently here...

              The correct answer is:
If its +EV, make the bet.
If its -EV, don't make the bet.

Some football weekends, that might be 3-4 bets, other weekends it may be 8-10. Just depends...

These are the things the new age sharps are touting these days. Thing is every side is +/- Ev at any given time. The push rate on lines that never ever make a move in the 'major sports' (NBA, NFL, NCAA hoops and football) is less than 1%. So therefore every side is a winner or a loser for the most part.

But the beuty is how people determine what + Ev sis before the game starts, and why they chose it. Then how they explain it after it loses.

All that talk is nonsense, but it is the new catch phrase for gamblers so they go with it. And enough guys who think they are smart use it so everyone else wnats to sound as smart as them so they use it too.

But being with the 'in' crowd usually isnt all that smart, and people make up fairy tales for a reason.

To answer the question it is all about volume and getting the lowest vig take out on your winners as you can get. So as many low vig positions as you can safely afford to have in action at one time.

Like stated previously, if you're doing it recreationally then do whatever you want. If you're not serious and are doing it for the entertainment and fun throwing money around bet 50 games, just don't expect a good ROI in that case
