Pretty high line for a hot team. They have also won 3 of those games on the road.

CC Sabathia is on the mound for Milwaukee and he has been dominant since coming over to the NL. But Milwaukee hasnt exactly been dominant in their last 15 games!

Having said that, it would be a big sack to take Washington today!

I think betting either side is crazy. Both teams can't hit. Milaukee has the edge with the batting and the pitching but milwaukee doesn't really hit that well.

Need to replace Milwaukee with Washington in the title so this thread makes more sense. WASHINGTON has won 6 of their last 7 and is +290 tonight

As a team, .315 OBP vs rhp. Have some power, but still, .315 is not good.

Yeah the Brewers sometimes struggle to hit RHP and the Nats have won 6 of the last 7. However, they were also wins against the Reds and Rockies. Not overly impressive teams. That being said, I think the only way to play it is with the Nats. There may be some value there but its a no play for me. Milwaukee cleared their heads emotionally after the Parra/Fielder scuffle. They may be in the midst of an impressive streak themselves.

I was just about to post something on this subject. It seems like a great betting opportunity even though Milwaukee will win.Sabathia isn't that good where Washington is +260-+290.The line is moving and I got +260,should have seen it quicker.I'll bet if Sabathia has a bad outing and wants a quick trip to the showers,Baby Huey Fielder won't bitch slap him around.I think Sabathia would have Fielder on his ass if Fielder got on his ass.

I'm a 30 pack half empty and not half full kind of thinker where I compare hot pitchers to big beer drinkers.Once you pound 15 down in quick fashion, you start nursing a beer or two before you want to eat.Same goes for pitching where you pile up a number of wins and good stats in a row and bad luck and stuff catches up where you blow a couple games. In horse racing a horse's form acts in cycles like that. They always say to never play roulete that way where you bet black or red if it hasn't come up in 12 spins because the odds are meaningless but I like betting against pitchers good outings streaks that way.

The game is a no-play. Washington vs. CC have no chance. Laying -310 on the Brewers is crazy.

Nats surprised me by taking it to Ubaldo who came into yesterdays start en fuego!!! They seemed to have a different moxie about them in both games, and it looks as if this clubs finally starting to have some fun. CC's been better for the Brewers away from Miller Park; maybe has something to do with the added pressure he puts on himself tossing in front of his new teams' fans.

That said; I expect WSH to stroll into "Wrigley Field North" much the way they did in Coors. This club has nothing to lose, is playing loose, and has been rewarded for its efforts of late. A perfect combination for a team almost paying out at 3:1.

Why the heck not take a stab? Throw some beer money on it....
