I think any suggestion that this will be a game dominated by defense is flawed. Short rest favours the offense.

On a related note, look at the last game Carson Palmer played against the Chargers. He played the best game of his career and cut up the SD secondary with less weapons at his disposal than he has tonight.

The Raiders are banged up and Carson Palmer has been terrible. Yeah he threw for 300 yards but most of those were yards after the catch. Antionio Gates owns the Raiders, and Rivers is going to put this team on his back. I see a lot of 3 and outs for the raiders tonight as SD's defense will be pumped up for this game.

Neither team has much rest but the raiders gameplan is more predictable and I don't see a few days being enough to prepare for a dynamic chargers offense.

just a prediction. could be a 10 point win, but to answer suicide, oakland offense is too predictable which favors sd defense that has played against the top qbs in the league already at the halfway point of the season. don'tbuythehook- who's ghost are you. go put out some more losing plays, then make another account. only real men can take a beating and still come back

I think Palmer gets eaten tonight. SD is hungry for that win and still has a chance for playoff contention, Oak is rebuilding and the hunger just isn't there. I think its a solid bet, but doubt its a blow out.
