    "Bonus for recreational players only"
Hi, id like to hear some oppinions about how serious the bookies take this term.
Im a line shopper, and it happens quiet often that after betting a line, i see the bookie is moving it kinda fast.

In about 2 years only 1 bookie closed my account and sent me my balance minus the bonus, cause of me being a "Pro". That was Bestlinesports, and they did it after only 5 bets (i won 4).

You think that could happen to me on books like Betjamaica, for example?
I usually bet around 500$ per game.

I've heard quite a few stories from other people but just speaking for myself:

I've never had a book confiscate a bonus.

I've never been booted from a book and have only been seriously restricted 3 times that come to mind (and one of those books, Intertops, seems to have lifted the restrictions).

I'd have to let someone with more experience being sanctioned talk about the likelihood of BetJamaica doing something like that. I just don't know.

I do not think Jamaica would boot you so you should play with them and other bigger ones so you do not have that problem

BetJam won't give you the Bait n Switch. Actually, in the last year, BestLine has assured us that they would not do this either and I know players who have been given lower bet limits or told their action was not welcome but were allowed to finish the roll.

          Terris,

When did this occur? Feel free to email me about your complaint.

Was in end of July this year Bill, so not very long ago. They sent my deposit + winnings - bonus to my Neteller. Than i asked via email if theres any reason for that, and the answer was that my action seems to be a little too professional.
They didnt mail me with this themselves to explain it, which i consider bad customer service too.
But the matter is over for me, i can accept that and just wont play the book again

              Terris,

Any news on this? I think Bestline needs to address this or face the music like Oasis is doing now. I admit I am interested for selfish reasons.

                  Terris,

I've gotten many bonuses over the years with very few problems. Books where you might be likely tonhave problems are Oasis and betus, maybe heritage too. If bestlines labled you a pro, outside of betmill and betbg, I'd stay away from the rest of the books in wagermall. I beieleve they all sghre player info.

Its a tough subject. You cant allow scalpers to have promotional money meant for regular players. I think the player advocate industry tries to give the books some slack on this. Scalpers patterns are pretty easy to detect. I lot of books dont mind scalpers but they sure dont want to give them money and allow them to scalp their way through the rollover.

Jamaica will probably not boot you but you can be damn sure that if you are sharp (a scalper), they will delay the confirmation process by x seconds.

...and another question for you guys

Do you think large bookies - such as Cris, Greek or Pinny (i know that pinny welcomes sharps anyway) - have the time/peeps to look into each players betting style?
Will they even notice what guys do, who dont play for large amounts (2000+ or so) per bet?

The three books you mentioned could care less about those bets. In fact if the lines moved in such a way that you were able to in house scalp them they wouldn't blink an eye.
