There are two major questions still looming:

1) See above. What took someone so long to come forward? If the grand jury began its investigation three years ago, that leaves a gap from 2002 until 2008. Why nothing during that period of time? And given the 20-some odd reported incidents involving Sandusky, how did they keep every single kid quiet and out of the spotlight for all these years?

2) Why is Mike McQueary still employed by Penn State University? He should've been the first to go. If Paterno and Spanier are out, this coward should be following them right out the door.

People did come forward. At Central Mountain high school----3 parents did come forward and make accusations, the problem is no one believed them.

That is where the problem is in all this mess. The authorities, and people in positions to help them failed horribly.

I just keep hoping this isn't true, but it's hard to keep people this quiet for this long without a lot of help -- both financially and otherwise. That makes this entire thing all the more disturbing.

Yes, the prosecutor disappeared and they found his hard drive smashed in the river and his car, but no evidence of him. They finally declared him dead this summer.
