Just moved back to Tallahassee a few months ago, but I went to school at FSU and grew up around Valdosta. I've been to JCKC a few times. It's a fun place to go, but after experiencing so many other card rooms you realize that it's a hole. The last time I went was before they enacted the buy in rules so all you could do was play limit and over priced tournaments. I would imagine Gretna will be the nail in the coffin for JCKC.

Huh, I've been to JCKC a few times and it was no limit. The actual upstairs facility is pretty nice I thought...it has/had potential, but being out in the middle of nowhere and with no large cities around it I don't think it's ever gonna be what it could. The downstairs area where all the black guys bet the dogs is definitely a dump.

Yeah...this was about 5 years ago where they only had limit. It's been a while since I've been there. But mow that we've been talking about it, I'll probably go there next weekend haha.

The horse racing will be barrel racing. No slots yet, but they are up for a vote in January. If they get slots they are putting up a hotel.
