Does anyone else think this hamburger needs to go? The NBA would be much better off without him. Most of the owners dislike him, the players can't stand him. His dumb comments to the media and his take it or leave it threats to the player's union are laughable. Hell, in addition to the players laughing at him, half the owners are to. HAMfuk'gBURGER!

The first order of business should be to shitcan this idiot, replace him with maybe Phil Jackson or someone along that level that can handle the NBA's business a weebit more professionally, then get back to the negotiating table and get a deal worked out that works for both sides.

David Stern saved the league 20 years ago during the cocaine years. He does what is best for business, not what ev eryone wants him to.

The NBA wouldnt exist today if not for stern. He globalized and marketed star players. Before stern came along they aired the nba finals at 2 am on a 4 hour delay.

I didn't think he should have survived the betting scandal. That could have been avoided. The expansion teams have been a disaster including the team the nba now owns. Maybe jj is right... time for new blood?
