You are the first one to look at any stats the ESPN preview gives you.

Bellicheck cuts haynesworth. He cut Merriweather. He cut lee bodden (why???)

He is making some bold moves. Let's see what happens. Everyone on the team knows their job is not safe

This game doesn't pivot around Brady. We all know what he can do. It pivots on the Patriots D. Hoodie and Brady can have the greatest offensive game plan ever, but if they aren't on the field or NE doesn't stop anyone, its tough.

The Jets have the personnel in the secondary to take away at least one of Brady's favorite targets, and I'd look for Revis to take out Welker for the most part. A lot will come down to the Jets pass rush. Outside of that, who are you really worried about? NE's WR core isn't that explosive and neither is their run game.

If (that's a big IF with Sanchez) the Jets can take care of the ball, they can and will control the clock, similarly to the game at Buffalo, and pull out a victory. It will take some marbles to put your faith in Marky (and against a NE team with their backs against the wall on PrimeTime TV), but the Jets could take the blueprint from the NE v Pitt game and limit Sanchez's difficulty with quick hitting pass plays.

Regardless, this will be a close game, one I will avoid. There are much better lines to go after.

Brady will lose 3 straight games for the first time since forever. Pats might not make the playoffs this year thanks to their secondary.

This is a perfect parallel to exactly one year ago

Week 9 2010: Pats lost @Clev. The word was they were done, Brady had lost it. The next week they go to Pitt for SNF as a 4.5 dog (line is a joke, about pk if they didn't lose). Pats won 39-26, thorough handling

Week 9 2011: Pats lose to the Giants. The word is they are done, Brady has lost it. Now they go on the road again for SNF as a dog in a big conference game

Perception is Pats are down while Jets are on the up and up, and it has shaped the line. Pats have been -3 and -3.5 last 2 times in NY. Rex isn't getting swept? Like PITT wasn't getting swept before getting bitched by Flacco?

Tom and Bill on the road in primetime must win game coming off back to back losses

                                  Why bother playing this game?

There are much better plays this week than Pats or Jets.

Why not, they lost this game easily, if that's the case, they're still in control the AFC East.

The last time NE lost 3 consecutive games at home was 1992, that's nineteen years ago folks.

Jets all day. Pats have 20 points or less in the past three games. The Steelers laid out an easy blueprint to slow down the Pats offense.
