They won't. It's not even an issue. One loss Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford, XYZ would be put above them. If any outside team is ever going to crash this party, they have to play 2-3 solid out of conference teams who hold up ratings wise for an entire season and beat them obviously. Even if TCU hadn't lost to Baylor to open the year, I don't think their team would have added much to Boise's profile. Tough luck. Tough shit. Whatever. System is what it is. It's made to let the power players make money and play for the title.

How could you leave out the team that beat a team in Georgia(if it beats LSU, which is possible) that WON the BEST conference in college football??

If stanford beats Oregon they will over take Alabama in points
          this is so simple
          OK state win out
          Stanford win out
and you will not see a rematch
          Regardless with a rematch
LSU will be ranked at the end of the season #1
          Bama Will be ranked #2
uncertain if they do play again - who will win ?

If Andrew luck could beat a top defensive team it would be great to follow his career in the nfl as a football fan... That's why I wanna see Stanford play against lsu or Alabama and not against okla state

If Alabama wants to be back in the national title game they need to start off by beating Missississippi State by 35 points this saturday.

if they played again in the national championship game, alabama would still be favored.

lol...bama scored the 2nd worst total of the year against lsu. 6 points...and even n'western state managed 3 points. they may well be the best d in the country...but many outside of sec homer-land feel there are likely several teams as good as or better than bama. biggest game of the year at your place...one of the best home fields in the nation...and you can't beat lsu. now you think you deserve another shot on a neutral field? joke. any other team that wins their conference with one loss should be ahead of bama. they had a shot on their own field and couldn't even score a td...lol.

LSU and Alabama are the two best teams, they should play again. The first game was perhaps the best college football game I've ever witnessed. Boise is a joke, barely beat AF as a 33 point chalk!!? Oklahoma State is not much better, they're a 4-5 loss team playing a full SEC schedule. Best team outside of the SEC comes from the Pac-10, whether it be Stanford or Oregon.
