well he wasnt on the needle yet while playing pro, if he was he woulda had no chance. with pills, its diff for everyone. to some it makes them nod out, others it gives them opposite effect n gain energy, guessing he was in that category

update.
I showed my mom the documentary, as I am a recovering addict and wanted her to understand. well it touched it her so much, she e-mailed him ( i didnt know) and today she surprised me with something that came in the mail. he actually responded to her e-mail and sent me a bracelet, almost like the lance armstrong live strong bracelets...but different all black, says vitality than #24 and the herren project on it.
he even signed a posted card in his own hand writing, that says "one day at a time!" than his autograph.
pretty awesome if you ask me.

This dude was the real deal. When he played for Tarkanian, crowds harrassed him and he was a stone cold killer. Can't believe he was waiting for his drugs outside of the Boston Garden in his warm ups.
Met him once across the street from the Boston Garden at the pizza joint waiting for his drop, the kid was a mess, spoke with the thick Boston accent, sick basketball skills, train wreck though.
