New sports betting app, need your opinion
We just launch our first smart phone app. (Iphone and Android) We're looking for feedback, positive or negative. The app is free, offers live odds from 30+ books, public betting trends, 1H/2H odds, as well as final scores alerts and breaking injury alerts.

Let me know what you think.

    Regards,

    Dan F

I'm not sure if SBR will allow me to post a link. If you have a smart phone visit the Android Marketplace or the Iphone App Store and search for NFL Lines or Sports Insights. Once the app loads you'll see a free login button.

It works with either iphone or ipad. I have an iphone and if you search for "sports insights" or "sports odds" you'll get it. Make sure you are searching within the actual App Store.

Also, it shows percents for each game but when you pick a game it says public betting percents are a premium feature soo what percents are you showing for free lol

perhaps its not natively designed for the iphone because the top menu (mysports, game-1h-2h ect) are half covered & is a little difficult to navigate on the iphone.

rfr3sh, true that, not sure if these betting percentages are even accurate.

Yes, we're been hearing from users about the top navigation bar not appearing correctly. We added a fix which Apple was suppose to approve today. The bet % come from 6 online sportsbooks. You are seeing the average between the 6 sportsbooks. The bet % feature free user can't see are the individual betting percentages at each sportsbook.

Doesn't even compare to iodds in its present form. Yours is confusing and needs a better user interface, especially dealing with the difference between free and premium content

When you first open the app, you think it's only NFL. It's not visually apparent that you need to tap on the word nfl to select other sports. Plus the layout is horrible on the eyes. The only thing I do like is tapping on a game and seeing the line history. However again the layout could be much better on the eyes.

JJ Gold, this is a free app not a web browser product. If you want the full blown Sports Insights odds product, use your mobile phone's browser and visit SportsInsights, login, and load the live odds page...but you'll need a Premium Sports Insights account. We've been offering a mobile web browser product since 2008.

The Sports Option product isn't an app. It just a stripped down web version of their odds product, which in my testing will cause your phone's browser to crash.

Our product since 1999 has been web based, meaning you don't download/install anything. You can access our info with any web browser including any smart phone web browser. There is no additional fee for accessing our content using browser.

I tried to attached a screenshot from my Ipad. The graphing feature is only one of many ground breaking additions.

There appears to be some confusion concerning what is an "app" and what is web content. An "app" is something you download and install on your phone. An app can tap directly into many of your smart phone's features, for example push alerts or GPS lcoation. As far as using your phone's mobile browser, you're simply viewing web content on your mobile phone.

The Sports Insights free app is downloaded an installed on your phone. You click on the app icon and go directly to NFL odds/scores/public betting trends page. You can also customize your app to display your favorite sportsbook odds, as well as receive final score and breaking injury alerts on games you tag as My Game.

If you want a full blown live odds product on your phone or tablet device, then simply use the devices mobile browser, login to SI, and the load the live odds page. Our content has always been web based. You can view our live odds page from any computer, tablet, mobile phone, or mobile device...as long as it has an internet connection and a broswers. Will comment later when I try it on iphone
Sports Options actually should be free on IPHONE forever
No phone based product should be there be a fee

Maybe Sports Insights is ahead of the others as far as mobile devices but no way if your talking about computers is it better than Don Best.....every book , pro gamblers and syndicate has it as does many regular bettors and sports portals
