I think gambling is much more on the level than any financial market is where you have the good old boys club and influence peddlers rigging the game and knowing what's going on behind the scenes.

Does anyone here know of a book that really delves into some of the influential people that made easy money on not so on the level deals in the financial world? If there isn't one out there,I wish that someone would write one. They could start chapter one out with the Clinton's making out like bandits on the cattle futures market when they knew nothing about it.

Anyone know of any sweetheart deal that you just knew wasn't on the level where someone who's filthy rich got that way with acquiring dirty money?

They say that FDR's family and The Kennedy's made their family fortune in heroin and Scotch whisky.

It's amazing that with all the rigged markets, sportsbetting is looked upon as an ugly vice and sin by the politicians.

Anyone ever see the financial deal where the mob fronted this teenage kid money to start a shell corporation called Zzzzbest?carpet cleaning or something out in NYC?It was hilarious. The kid was like Angel on The Rockford Files living high off the hog not knowing the mob was getting him in a heep of trouble.I think he took the fall as the bagholder while the Soprano types that made out like bandits went scott free.

The kid's claim to fame was having the last name in the biggest phone book in the world.
