I just don't take teams/lines like this because I've been burned by them a lot in the past. Not saying UCF isn't a play, but I definitely wouldn't go big.
If Iowa doesn't cover vs. Michigan, I might double up on them vs. MSU. Spartans haven't won in Iowa City in forever, and Cousins is the kind of QB Iowa's system fares well against.Comment -

#38Majority of these games comes down to turnovers which impact many point spread covers and no way to handicap thatComment -

#45No idea, this game will be close.
The one that wont is Okla vs AnM.
I think folks are starting to realize AnM is just a slightly better thab average team, of course so was Texas Tech. But Okla had 3 starters out on defense, that didnt help. Anyway this is the first time they step back on their home turf after that hunilitating loss. With the fall of Wisky and of course Kansas St, Okla can smell the BCS title game. At least they think they can even if its a mirage. So with that backdrop I think Okla will do its best to impress the posters.Comment -

#49Why is Army a 17 point dog against Air Force? Air Force has 4 wins, but those came against Navy (who I have ranked #112th) by one point (35-34), and then New Mexico (#120th), and 2 FCS schools. Not to say Army has faced a tougher schedule (wins against Northwestern, Tulane, and FCS Fordham). I would call their schedules about even, and they have similar results (3-5) vs (4-4).
When each team's stats are adjusted for who they've faced, they're very similar. I know Air Force has dominated Army in recent years, but the disparity between these teams is not that big this season. I like Army on the ML +650 as being a pretty decent value bet.Comment -

#51Why is CF favored over Tulsa anyway? Tulsa is going to stomp a hole in them bigger than Lake Okeechobee.
East Carolina getting only 9 against Southern Miss? Did the oddsmakers forget the 1 in front of the 9?
Kentucky a home dog to the awful Ole Miss Rebels? Kentucky wins easily.
Oklahoma -13.5? Watch for the SBR special
If you were to play against both Stanford and USC I think the worse you could do is lose a little juice. Both are laying 3plus TDs after that emotionally draining game. Thats the 2nd in a row for USC. It wouldnt shock me to see Colorado rise from the dead and win the game outright against a team that never even noticed them on the schedule. And Standford faces an Oregon State team that plays hard and physical at home. If they are looking for a bye they could well get a goodbye.
What else? Tech /texas will be close, Tenn and SMU are both great unders. Mich is gonna have fun running wild on Iowa's defense(less). Lsu and Alabama will be a great game, the total is too low. Good defenses yes, but the loser has at least 17 and more likely 20. I look for Bama to put them away in the 4th which seems to be their specialty but wont be betting it.Comment -

Btw, the picks are up top, hence the what else? comment. I'm flipping on Bama. Going with LSU small.
