Sometimes i hate customer service reps. Accidentally placed a bet on the twins first 5 instead of for the game and called in to see if there was any way they would change it. He said no and i said ok, not a big deal. Then he said "There is a box that very clearly says for the game of first 5 and its pretty hard to mess up, so pay attention next time." Thats 3 times i've called them and 3 times i've gotten off the phone pissed. No other book has had customer service bad enough to make me want to cash out and move elsewhere but i think that where i'm heading.

Don't other books change that as long as you've called in before the first pitch?

A lot of them will, as long as you don't make it a habit, and call as soon as the mistake was made.

The best I have dealt with is Blackdog -- I put a bet in and inadvertently bet a Round Robin instead of three straight plays. I called in and they corrected it immediately, despite one of the games already being in the top of the 1st.

Seems pretty rude of the guy. Excellent customer service isn't something sportsbooks are know for. I've called a few times and either they can't speak English or they have no clue what they are talking about. Or a combination of the two.

I find the best customer service is to never call customer service at all. Only under dire circumstances.

Unfortunately, with one grumpy head honcho....and a 1/2 dozen $6.00 employees who don't speak English......you can move only so far on the customer service ladder. Sportsbooks have the foot on the first rung and thats it....

          Customer service = overhead

Didnt get his name, hung up on him. some white kid in account management that sounded like he was in his early twenties. This is the first time i've made this mistake too, I just saw twins -125, which was the same price i was seeing at SBR Odds for the game and clicked it. I should have been more careful and it is a small bet, but i expected more out of an A book.

What BS ! How ****in rude of him. You can find out who it was if you remember what time you called, if the bosses care to listen to the tapes. I mess up like that sometimes too. I scroll down to the 5 innings, then forget I scrolled down. It happens when I'm comparing the lines at my different books.

i've had the same problem as you,but it was with my favorite book 5 dimes.i beted a moneyline for a thousand dollars.i told my dad what i had beted, and he asked me was i crazy,so i called back, and asked the clerk if i could take the bet off,and the guy said he would do it,but just this one time, and he would never do it again.it didnt make me leave 5dimes because they are a important out,but it di d piss me off though.
