At worst, SBR broke even on the promo. The game is barely +EV given perfect play and most will play less than perfectly. Congrats (again) to yisman though. I'm glad one of the forum good guys won it.

Nice theory, except they originally said it would be repeated if no one won, not if only 1 person one. Clearly SBR likes what they saw on their balance sheet. They may or may not have profited from the promo directly, but they certainly didn't lose anything like the BJ promos and still got a large uptick in play.

I definitely like the blackjack promos more.

But in SBR's defense, this promo is eventually going to force them to shell out 2 iPads. With blackjack, the majority of the promo winners probably lose their points later on anyways, so it doesn't actually cost SBR that much. Therefore, it kind of makes sense that this one isn't as +EV.
