I don't like Obama either, but I also agree that this was a pretty easy mistake to make when you have the schedule of the assumed presidential nominee for the Democratic Party in the United States of America.

As others have previously mentioned when referring to the video he meant to say 47, not 57. As there was 1 left to visit, not including Hawaii and Alaska.

However, it does go a long way in shutting up these Starbucks humping yuppie liberal pansies whom quip about every mistake Republicans happen to slip. Yeah, you're human. 57 states, nice one.

If I were to start a thread like this, I'd go with this video. Why shouldn't we vote for Obama? He plans to disarm America into a third rate military force. You may fail to realize that our military is what supplies most countries with their defenses. We spend 8 times what China does in national defense each year and spend 46% of the world total. The U.S. and its allies (England, France, Japan, etc.) spend 2/3 of the world total expenditures. We'll hardly be third rate with a few cuts.

Guys, people make mistakes. Of course Obama knows how many states there are and of course McCain meant to say the Afghan/Pakistan border.
