    Where Will Pujols Sign
No way he stays a Card with LaRussa gone. I say he stays in the NL and goes with the Marlins.

You really think the Marlins have 30 million open to sign Pujols?

As a Cubs fan, I don't want Pujols. He will be regressing every season now, and he isn't going to be worth the 7 years 200 million he gets.

The fact that LaRussa hung it up might be an indication that the Cards and Pujols aren't even close to working something out. The Cards have spend a lot of money on Wainwright, Carpenter and the failed Holliday experiment and they have some decent young talent that they might let him walk if they're not given a "home town discount"

However, I take Pujols as the kind of ballplayer and guy that would like to stay in St Louis for his entire career. Guy has won two WS there and has the city in the palm of his hand.

LaRussa has managed for a LONG TIME, so he might have been ready to call it quits even if the Cards lost.

My heart wants him to stay with STL, but my head says he's gone. I think the front-runners (besides STL) are the Anaheim Angels. I think the Marlins might make a big splash too, especially with their new ballpark opening.

That would be big if Theo can land Pujols. But I don't think even having Albert on the Cubs is going to help that team.

with Todd Helton on his last legs, Pujols would be an unreal signing for Colorado, imagine the #s he would put up at Coors. not sure they have money tho after the contracts to Cargo and Tulo.

They don't buy championships, they use homegrown talent and then dismantle.

You're crazy. The Marlins can not afford Pujols.

Homegrown talent are you being serious or do you not even have a clue what you are talking about. Look at these starting lineups from their two championship teams. Those are not homegrown players.

The 2003 team did have two integral home grown pieces in Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera though.

first of all anyone who pays pujols a long term contract needs to get his head examined, know that hendry is no longer in charge, the idea of pujols signing with the cubs are almost impossible and think his best bet would be american league considering hes getting older and seems his legs were bothering him in the world series, probably another guy the yankees will try to buy

Texas Rangers are going to make an offer he will not be able to say NO too.

Man would the Rangers be an offense machine
