Going to be tough against good/great NFL teams playing like this against an average USC team. Of course this is only one game. Actually half of one...

USC has athletes. Stanford overachieves. This will be a dog fight until the end. Doubt Stanford covers.

Just look at him in the pocket and his mechanics...he's ready to succeed in the NFL right this second. The learning curve for Luck will be next to nothing.

But then again, you grade yourself as a tennis and fitness guru at 300 lbs and solo matches with a padded wall......not exactly a scout's mindset

How can you evaluate this until he has some NFL games under his belt? Lots of these guys are supposed to be great coming out of college and turn out shitty while other don't get much hype and are great. You realize Ryan leaf isn't the only Ryan leaf and there will be many many many more. I don't think luck is a bust by no means but I can't judge how good or bad he will be at the next level until he gets there.

see so many pre mature threads on this forum that always end up with egg all over their face. people need to stop blowing their load so early and realize it ain't over till the clock hits zero.

Why does that suck? Luck to marshall will be unreal. Marshalls unstoppable with a good quarterback. instant playoff team with luck

Takes a lot more than just Luck to Marshall imo. I'd like to see what the Rams do if they end up with the #1 pick.

Yep, just see all his highlight reel plays during his days with Jay Cutler in Denver.

Davone bess and fasano are very solid too, they just havent had a decent quarterback in so long though. I agree, i would think they would have to trade it for assets for bradford, but he really hasnt looked good at all this year. It will be interesting.

I would expect them to trade Bradford. I don't know how any team can trade Luck if they have the opportunity to draft him unless he pulls an Elway or Eli.

as a pats fan/season ticket holder...the fins would have a solid foundation if they land luck...i love marshall...and they have daniel thomas, jake long, pouncey...and some other solid pieces...and time to add more.....remember...no other position can change a franchises fortune like a qb.....

Another fail thread posted before a game is over, seems to be a theme around here.
All good QB's have to go through tough games on the road and he did what a good QB does...he found a way to lead his team to a win.

If it wasn't for USC's front four, this would have been a blowout.
Even if his team didn't win, you have to account for the other 10 guys around him.
Now, nobody knows how things will work out for him at the NFL level, but when you consider his mechanics, reads, arm, etc, he is the best we've seen in a long time, at the college level.
