Hockey by far, and soccer, played lots of junior hockey and went to a few pro camps (goalie) and played some college soccer up here in canada played for my provincial team when I was younger...

are you messing with him, that vid he showed of him throwing was a horrible example. he didn't plant his back foot solidly and have a strong follow through, plus he didn't have much of a high leg kick to give himself momentum going forward. i will say it was probably hard for him to give an example in a hallway. if Pat will go outside and throw into a net, I could judge even better.

i'd be afraid i'll have a heart-attack trying to play anything now. but i was decent at football and basketball and i used to do some cool tricks on my BMX bike, a Haro Master, i can still shoot a good stick of pool.

al, you are right, i was in the box alot.. most of my skills in hockey was creating traffic in front of the net and screen the goalie, with deflections here and there. (i was more of a claude lemieux type)

i would bet patty's hardest throws are probably anywhere from 55 to 65 mph.. max..

i can see you being a great basketball player. i can see you very quick inside. you can probably take me easily to the hole and hand me a few head fakes and get the easy lay up off me. you are probably tough to defend.. i can see you quick inside and tremendous foot speed. you are probably a great basketball player and tough to defend..

you are mr youtube. i dont know how you do it.. you keep coming up with these great habs vids of the past. that couldn't have been me.. the big bird was a defenseman, i was a forward. al, how great was the big bird, huh? omg.. the greatest of all time, next to orr. i've seen that goal maybe 346 times, and it never gets old. you see how he made those defensemen look sick. it was the big bird's most popular goal ever. how about that end to end rush by the big bird. he was known for that.
