yeah he's done. He might see some Arena or CFL..prob CFL. Or backup on a team that might get a late training camp injury or a rb that goes down for the season.

Are there any pro flag football leagues, thats where he belongs. He plays like he is afraid to get hit. Ironic how his career ended when guys like Hutchinson bolted for free agency. Shows how underrated O-lines are.

He became afraid, he always was a pretty boy and not a tough guy type you need to be in NFL.

Sad to think how fast a great great player can be forgotten.
Terrell Davis, Shaun Alexander, wow the window to NFL Success closes real fast for NFL Running Backs

The last two years he ran scared -- side to side instead instead of blasting through the hole. Started taking some shots rather than delivering them. Now he's a mental case who needs major pyschology.

i was thinking the same thing as i was reading peoples responses, i was going to mention Terrell Davis.
I think S.A. is still a good back, someone will pick him up, he'd fit in great for teams that like to play alot a play action in the red zone.
He's also a Ky. boy so i got to hope he still gets a chance.

Could Shaun Alexander ressurect his career if he took meth before games?
I guarentee you the guy rushes for 2,000 and runs through people like JJ Gold on 48 hour coke rage.

He is a running back in the NFL, what do you expect?? That is by far the toughest position to play in any sport (physically) and he was a softy...

And running backs in this league are grossly overrated, I would rather spend millions on an O-line than a 1st round/high profile RB...
No matter how "good" an RB is, he is nothing without a solid line...
EX. Edge James, goes to ARI and sucks shit now? Did he lose all of this talent?...

Thats why any team that drafts an RB in the first round is retarted. IE. The raiders
