Totally false. Even going 9-7 at flat stakes would yield a profit on a 16 game card. The large card also reduces the effects of variance, so even if LB goes 6-10 he's still better off than the fool that bets the same total $ amount in the form of larger stakes on 4 games and goes 1-3.

Absolutely not. All depends on the strategy you use. Some people prefer to bet 1 or 2 games or even 1-4 games and bet larger amounts. Others prefer to bet smaller amounts and play percentages. You only need to hit 52.5% of your bets to break even. So playing 30 games just means he needs to hit 16 to not lose any money and gives him a larger sample to hit that target number or better. I bet a lot of games as well and haven't had any problems. I may not come in and have a $10,000 day but I also don't lose my shirt on bad days and I've been able to consistently make money. That's all that really matters.

No sir this isn't the case. If you play 100 games ATS at -110 odds a week and hit 52% you win $5200 and lose $4800 straight up for a profit of $400. Now factor in the juice you lost of $480 and you are down $80 hitting 52%. Winning % means nothing in gambling because most don't wager the same amount at the odds for every bet. Units won/lost (factoring in the cost of gambling) is the only way to figure pure profit. Some hit 60% and lose money while others hit 48% and win it.
