I Am So Happy For Pujols
This is one of the best guys in baseball, on and off the field. Does everything right, no drugs, donates his time and money...he deserves at least one.

I really hope he returns to STL and ends his career there.

    Great run by the Cards!

I'm happier for Berkman personally as a life-long Astros fan. Grew up in Houston and got to watch him. Truly one of the good guys in baseball. Hard not to like most of this team really. No frills club.

Furcal and Berkman are good calls too. Both vets that have had solid careers.

Carpenter too. Guy has been a horse in STL for a while, battled injuries for a couple years but came back strong.

LaRussa gets another. Molina gets a well-deserved title, too.

Won't get it, but shouldn't need it now. The revenue for the city and team combined with the success and the game 7 championship.. The owner has no choice now. Let Pujols write his own check, you owe it to the man, and he's earned it.

No, why should he after taking the risk of playing all year with no contract and delivering the goods. If he had an off year he wouldn't be offered as much. It's not his fault management overpaid for worthless Holliday and Lohse, so why should he pay for their mistakes? Maybe those 2 should ask for pay cuts to help keep Pujols. Think that will happen?

There are lots of really nice guys in baseball. Jim Thome is 10 times the guy Pujols is and never won one I don't think?

Also, Pujols cried about day games a few weeks back. Kind of a pussy move. I think Carpenter and La Russa's pussy bitching is rubbing off on him.

Also, Pujols cried about day games a few weeks back. Kind of a pussy move. I think Carpenter and La Russa's pussy bitching is rubbing off on him.
Thome is a good guy as well. I hasn't won one yet, he went with Cleveland back in the 90s.

I wouldn't say that Thome is 10x the guy Pujols is. I don't know if you say the 60 Minutes piece on Pujols about a year back or so...he's done some unbelievable things in the Dominican Republic like financed hospitals, schools, libraries, constructed new homes and such. I always thought he was a good guy, but after seeing that program...he goes above and beyond what 99% of all athletes do.

And to think that this guy was drafted #402 overall

Maybe try learning a little something about Pujols before opening your down syndrome mouth again?

Just saying, tons of really good guys in the game. You suck on Pujols' nuts all you want, but Sean Casey, Jim Thome, Kerry Wood, tons of guys have dedicated their lives off the field to improving the lives of others.

Pujols lost a lot of respect as a player when he cried about having to play day playoff baseball games. Baseball was meant to be played during the day.
