Is it wrong to cheat at poker?

I know it's wrong at a home game with friends. However, ever since poker was invented people have been cheating at it.

As a little kid I remember watching The Gambler movies with Kenny Rogers. He would always catch the bad guy cheating, or he would cheat some how... but in a good way.

So, what is wrong with cheating in poker? I always thought that there was no morality in gambling.

On another note.. if you're playing 3 handed w/ a pal, what is the best way to crush the odd guy out? Just re-raise each other in any pot that the other guy is in?
With the rake, and the fact that you can't always follow each other to the same tables consistently, is there much to be made? What if you raise the hell out of the guy and he has the nuts?

it's good for check raising situations. Where one person has rags but they raise to squeeze out the player between them.

There are several situations where it's good to know what someone whos working with u has.
