I have never been impressed with Hiroki Kuroda. This year Kuroda has an ERA of 13.67 with RISP and 31.76 ERA with RISP/2 outs. The thing about Kuroda is you must get to him early because if he gets settled in he can be tough. No worries though as Arizona can handle him batting .425 with a 8.22 ERA and 2.61 WHIP for his career against the D'backs.

On the other side, your going to get a solid 5-6 innings out of Yusmeiro Petit. He has been in the pen most of the year but has pitched very nicely this year with a WHIP of 0.85. Petit doesn't overpower hitters but mixes his pitches well and has a good feel for how to attack hitters.

i dn y its a hunch play tho...dbacks are hitting 300+ over their last 7 games..dodgers suck with a bad pitcher on the mound..i think its more of a statistics play for every1 else
