You could hit 50 frickin homeruns but miss a play to end the series and they lose the next game; you just cost your team the series.

That ball was so frickin playable. He wussed out. You can see him anticipating the fence about two or three steps to early. He slowed up, crunched up and missed a catchable ball and cost his team the game and the chance to become a champion right THERE.

If they lose that play will haunt him his entire career and it should. I won't call it a Buckner but it was pretty bad. Almost reminds me of when Bonds laid up on that ball in the 8th inning of game 6 in the series with the Angels. As soon as I saw that play, I said to my buddy (a huge Giants fan), that play just cost you the world series and that's what I thought when I saw the Cruz . . .
