Parking at LAX

Taking a flight out of LAX here pretty soon and wondering if any of the LA'ers around here has any advice for parking. I am going to be gone for 6 days and would like to find a spot that i can park for free(obviously) and take a bus or other transportation to the airport.

Ive found some long term parking for around $8 but would like to save money if possible...any advice??

You can take a bus to Union Station, and then there's a shuttle that runs to LAX for $7.00... But it'll add quite a bit of planning time to be buffered in.

I've had good luck parking here... $8/ day...
