Why not just have a 24-7-365 Goodfellas&Casino network?It's close already on weekends

It's a joke with me where on a weekend night I see how long I can flip channels without seeing Goodfellas or Casino airing.I just did it 5 minutes ago and on Sleuth they are running double or tripple features of Casino.Something tells me that Bravo is airing Goodfellas.The odds are about even money that some network will be running these movies on a weekend.

If these movies are so popular,why not make more of them?There are plenty of Vegas characters of similar ilk.Take Bob Stupak for instance.Read the biography, No Limit about him and see if it wouldn't be a great movie similar to Goodfellas and Casino.I highly reccomend reading this book.Maybe I'll find a way for Stupak to autograph it and SBR can have it for their charity auction?If they want it?

Have you seen those films with the swearing removed? it's pathetic, impossible to watch, just goes to show you the power of bad language and how much of it is in everyday life.

That's one of the only reasons to watch repeats of these movies.It's funny to hear Pesci saying,friggin ,fracken wombat sucking,mongoose loving,buffalo chip eating,Lawrence Welk listening fat rumped son of a bachelor.Stuff like that.hehe!

The only one that I notice slips through now and then is the N word and it really shocks me that they would have missed editing it out.It's always in the scene of Goodfellas where the truck at the greasey spoon restaurant gets hijacked.

How do they dub the new words on? Is that a voice actor just pretending to be Pesci or does Pesci actually do it? It must take forever to actually say it in the right tone and slip it in effectively. I take that back, they're not slipped in effectively but they are slipped in.

The best one in Minnesota was when this famous lawyer talk show host had a rivalry with the black Minneapolis police chief who was leaving office.When he had him on his show he started using the get your shine box impersonation to him and the liberals and minority community went balistic thinking it was racially motivated.

There is a restaurant in New haven called Cafe Goodfellas. Food is great. High end pricing and great service. They have flat screens on the walls and play an endless loop of 15 minute segments of all the great movies. Casino, Goodfellas, Bronx Tale, and they throw some funny ones in there too, like My Cousin Vinny. A must in New Haven for those that don't want to go to all the listed places in that city. There is a bar up the road that is an all RED SOX bar called Christopher Martins. Good drinks and OK live music after you eat. Just don't be talking Yankees there. I made that mistake once. ONLY ONCE.
