Zero House Edge Casino at Betfair??
JJ would have a field day trying to Martingale this thing. Anyone use it? How does it compare to using land casinos?

    Zero Roulette
    - One of the most exciting casino games just got a whole lot more interesting. We've removed the 'zero' from the wheel which means you get true odds on every bet.

    Zero Baccarat
    - We've reduced the commission on the banker bet to 2.75 per cent to create the best return to player of any Baccarat game on the web.

Zero Blackjack - The rules have been altered in your favour. We pay out 2 - 1 for a suited natural Blackjack and a five card 21.

Zero Jacks or Better - This version of video poker takes the house out of the game. With a Royal Flush payout 22 per cent higher than in any other online Casino, it is the best value Jacks or Better anywhere.

Throwing salt in the wound for us Americans. I'll have to review the mod handbook but I believe an infraction is called for.

I STILL WOULDN'T TRUST THESE RIGGED CASINOS. I KNOW THEY ARE RIGGED,.. THEY ARE TRYING TO REEL YOU IN WITH THE NO HOUSE EDGE. NEVER TRUSTED THESE ONLINE GAMES. I'D NEED TO BE THERE IN A LIVE CASINO IN PERSON TO REALLY BELIEVE THE ZERO HOUSE EDGE.

BE CAREFUL BOYS WITH THIS SCAM. THESE ONLINE GAMES ARE RIGGED. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT.. I KNOW A CASINO OWNER WHO HAD A CASINO ONLINE AND HE TOLD ME THEY CAN CONTROL THE GAMES.. ALL COMPUTERIZED. WATCH OUT..

I think it would be a good idea for every book to have a no juice casino. The guys who are up will be playing with house money and look to bet more on sports and poker, and the guys who are down will be looking to chase, should generate more action.

0% house edge is nice for recreational players, but still not enough for the advantage player.

They will still make some money off of that casino. At least with some people betting less than optimal Black Jack strategy.

betfair lists the amount matched on every bet on the betting screen. it won't let me link, but you can navigate there without logging in.

I agree. A lot of the old school bookmakers have said that the last thing they want to do is wipe a guy out or have him resent you because you have a casino game that can't be beat.

I think SBR needs to relocate you to the Costa Rica office.

                        It's a beautiful country.

Interestingly, the house doesn't actually need an edge to make money on casino games, it's big advantage comes from the size of its bankroll relative to the size of the bankroll of any one player.

EDIT: LVHerbie is of course correct. If a player is in a 0 EV game then no betting or staking strategy will change that. My bad, I was remiss in my posting.

This would be true (kindof) if you mean that an INDIVIDUAL player is more likely to go broke then the house since their bankroll is finite... but the house isn't playing against an individual player's bankroll but the combined bankroll of all their players... if the house edge is zero and games are played perfectly over a large enough sample both the house and the player will break even with perfect play...

In this case, the key is perfect play, as the players are going to make mistakes in both Blackjack and jacks or better and the house is going to make money in the long run... even someone who knows perfect play will still make the occasional mistake (misclicks, misplay hands, etc)...
