Chris Carpenter is one of the biggest douchebags in the game IMO. Everybody in major league baseball hates him, and it isn't just because he is good, because Halladay is a lot better and nobody hates Halladay.

I think he was just into the game. I like his competitive attitude. Helped get his team to the world series so I can't really fault the guy. Morgan just needs attention. He can't get the way Carpenter does... with talent. Morgan would never play for LaRussa. Even Colby Rasmus was pushing it, and look where he ended up.
