Like them a lot. Legal in Australia so as secure as it gets. In my top three or four.

Nice lines, quite often soft lines. Only gripe is that they seem to have a monetary limit on a price so as not to expose any overly weak lines. Then again, pretty understandable if I was running the book.

good book....reduced juice in some sports so that puts them in a better class than 95% of books.

It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride dealing with Canbet over the years. They went from consistent top 5 book to basically pointless to their current pretty darn useful again.
For the record, they have always been great with payouts. It is what they offer that has gone through ups and downs. Since becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of IAS (International All Sports) about a year ago, they seem to be in an era of stability.
They are a reduced juice shop, offering -107 on hoops and football spreads and totals. Dime lines on MLB moneylines.
Limits are pretty good although inconsistent. They can vary from game to game. It has a bit of an exchange vibe to it.
What else? They have a 20% cash sign-up bonus and 10% reloads on Thursdays. Check the site for full terms and conditions.
In my experience they have their share of soft lines.
They offer a good range of sports, not just the usual North American stuff.

More than average amount of typing errors, that are always voided. Sometimes the people at life chats are confused (esp. Benjamin). Once I had been waiting for moneybookers payout for 5 days, different persons told me different reasons and I simply believe they had no Euros at Moneybookers. No problem with USD-Neteller. When someone bets on changing line they offer him only 1 USD bet. It is hard to see it, becuase their font is strange (too small and undistinctive). So after one such bet that lost I was happy..
But except this they are ok, I like them. Their new interface is better.

From the droolin' newbie perspective (I can still measure my total sports bets in dozens, and count all books played on my fingers) I have had a good experience at Canbet. No glitches or holdups in my USD deposits or withdrawals using Neteller. Bonus accredited immediately. My one call to CS turned out to my satisfaction. I like the layout - it's easy for me to figure out how to place the bets the way I want them placed.

That reminds me, right around the time they switched to the new software they did have a few complaints about bets being voided under iffy circumstances. I recall a bet being voided citing "obvious line error" that was less than 10 cents off the consensus line.
I hadn't heard anything like that for awhile so I chalked it up to growing pains.

I wanted to post in this thread b/c I used it to decide whether to play at Canbet.
I really like this place. My deposit was easy, my bonus was credited automatically (I really like not having to deal with support, though I am getting used to it), I was able to get the bets I wanted down (in the $500-1000 range), the software was good, my bonus cleared automatically, and my payout was fast (like 3 hours, though neteller was having downtime). Support was helpful.
Since for me the generous signup bonus was the big incentive for me to play here, I was quite happy. However, they don't offer a very big range of bets (I found no baseball props at all, and if they have them, they are well-hidden), and the juice on some lines, like tennis or boxing, was absurd.
Because their lines are so limited and bad, I'm not sure I would play there if they didn't offer such a big signup bonus but, given that they did and that their system and support is so good, I was extremely pleased with my experience there. This place is efficient, safe and fast in my experienece, and deserves their A- rating in spite of the fact that most of their betting options aren't that attractive.

It's been awhile since I signed up so I can't remember if the signup bonus was credited automatically, but I can assure there is NO SUCH THING AS AN AUTOMATIC RELOAD BONUS
You must make your deposit using NETeller on Thursday between US time* 12am – 11.59pm (ET), only one bonus is issued per customer per week. The 10% bonus will be credited to your betting account within 24 hours.
I've waited 24 hours many times just because the site says it will be there. I've always had to email them to get it. The one that kills me is about the 3rd time I had reloaded I didn't wait to send the email because I was going out of town the next day so I sent early and got this response
Kindly note your bonus will be automatically updated in your account. However it can take up to 24 hours until the bonus is in your account.
If you have still not received your bonus after 24 hours, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Needless to say 3 days later it hadn't been credited yet.

There is no automatic credit of reup bonus.
I deposited via neteller and the bonus was in my account on Saturday night, after 2 contacts via live chat.

This happens all the time. The worst part is that when it does (and you bust your balance) you still can not get a reload the following Thursday, because, thanks to them crediting it late, you recieved a bonus less than 7 days prior to that Thursday.

Not true as I've busted and gotten a reload on consecutive Thursdays.

I had pretty good experiences with Canbet. If you are betting parlays (as I do sometimes) the software handles this very easily with far fewer clicks than at Pinnacle which is my main book.
Payouts have been quick. My last payout of $4k CAD was in my Neteller acct within 10 mins. Customer service was halpful too on most occassions although I agree with previous posters that you have to request your reload bonus at times.

My payouts have always been quick with canbet and the bonus program is good. They also have soft lines from time to time. 7% juice on NBA and NFL at all times is nice too.

Wish their layouts on Baseball odds + others were better.
They are too close together which makes it difficult to read quickly at least IMO anyway

At least they use larger fonts then Bodog. Two days ago, while working an all nighter, I inadvertently wagered $800 (with Calvin's gang) on a +160 Run Line when I should have gone -160.
