I am not knocking them for being religious, and I understand thanking God for everyone remaining safe or whatever, and allowing you to play to the best of your ability and give glory or something.

Why though would God determine the outcome of a game for you? Especially when there are players on the other side that would thank Him and give glory if they won?

Since Christianity was introduced to north America by European settlers it's safe to assume that centuries of Indians or Mians or Incas or what have you, who were here before Columbus landed, never knew about God and therefor went to hell when they died.
