I saw someone asking about the debit card in another thread and did not believe it so I went to sportsbook to check it out and sure enough it appears they may actually be offering this, I also checked out the new withdrawal history section and I have not used them since '06 but sure enough it shows every withdrawal I ever made in 05'-06' listed on there, are they really just having processor issues or are they a scam shop and are they going to be worth using anytime soon?

They stole from people in 2005-2006. Just because they didn't steal from you does not mean they were solid.
They have some +ev reasons to play there, but I have a comprehensive strategy and have taken into account the reasonable possibility that they stiff me when i play with places like that.

For the rest of us mere mortals, it makes a difference if I have $30000 instead of $2500 at risk. If I am worth billions, I wouldn't sweat it if I have $100k in there, but what if that is half of my assets? What if your entire bankroll is in there, will you sweat it? I know it's so tempting to continue to use books you feel comfortable with, but don't make a deposit unless you don't care if it takes a month to get your money after you ask for it. I don't know how much time it'll take, but I'd say give it a week and see if then the debit card option is still available.
Keep in mind Jazette's new processor now requires a copy of your ID, credit card (if you use one to make a deposit), and a utility bill. If the utilities aren't in your name, they'll accept a bank statement.
It has been a hassle for all of us trying to get money out. I tried BetOnline.com, and they will Western Union or Moneygram you money. Unfortunately, those jackasses also require a copy of your ID and credit card (the one you used to make a deposit). They don't tell you that until the day after you ask to make a payment.
Getting back to the original point - that debit card option would be great. It says $10k max. You'd have to pay probably $3-$4 in fees every time you try to withdraw from an ATM, but more importantly, you can just use it for gas and groceries or in my case depositing on PokerStars.

I use a CC for deposit's...mainly for rewards points reasons and I was just asked for a copy of my id and utility bill. CC was not mentioned, and they said my "documents" have been approved and the check I have "pending" is now being processed. I hear ya. I've been with them since 1998, so I'm kind of nostalgic too. It's been close to impossible to get money from them since around February. I've had a $2100 w/d outstanding since April. Supposedly they're going to send it ACH one of these days. They told me ACH, check, debit card and some online wallet service are the options now. I don't trust the wallet service, and it looks like you can only reuse the money at other casinos. I really hope this gets cleared up by football season. I requested a withdrawl of 2k with that debit card transaction on 7/25. They stated that I should recieve a card within 7-10 business days. It is currently the 6th business day. If what they said was true, I should recieve my card between tommorrow and friday. I called them yesterday and asked what the status was. They stated to me that I should recieve it within the week. I am in ALLSTAR.COM the same company that runs sportsbook. I have never had a problem recieving my funds in the past. At around April, I withdrew $1500. It was successfully put into my bank account. Then on May I withdrew $870 and recieved a check by zippayment an appearent processor based in Las Vegas. When I had tried to deposit it, it bounced. It freaked me out as I have a 3k balance in the account. So I called them up and they told me that they were haveing issues with the current processor and that they will try to get it resolved within the month. They told me to send a copy of the bounced check so that I could have that money back in the account. A couple days later, my account was reimbursed. Yesterday, I decided to Google some sportsbook issues useing some key words that may help me understand with what is going on. Come to find out, I ran into news that the FEDS have seized some funds of about $9 million from Zippayments. The seizure was mostly about BODOG, but I believe it did say that other sportsbook sites were involved, but BODOG mostly talked about. So as far as the fool that said he wouldnt worry about not being paid...think twice and dont be a fool! Its all over on GOOGLE. Look it up. (BODOG seizure) Read the articles. NO JOKE!
